The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said Monday evening, dispatch rooms in Zarqa were informed of the presence of a dead body on the side of a road in Al Dhalil area in Zarqa.

Forensice medicine and investigation teams announced the deceased body belonged to a man in his thirties who was strangled and stabbed, which led to his death.

The media spokesperson said that upon investigations, investigation teams were able to identify the main suspect.

The murderer was arrested. Upon interrogations, he confessed to committing the crime, noting he had personal disputes with the deceased.

The investigation is still ongoing in preparation for his transfer to the Public Prosecutor.
