A woman from Florida, Julia Yonkowski, was on the receiving end of potentially the greatest bank admin error of all time.

Yonkowski made a surprising discovery when she strolled over to the ATM to withdraw $20. Upon checking her balance, the number that came up was startling... $999,985,855.94.

While many would have taken the money, Julia did not.

"I was horrified," she said, "I know most people would think they won the lottery but I was horrified."

However, things took a turn for the worse after a Chase Bank spokesperson (the bank Julia has an account in) said the figure was actually a negative one.

So it turned out that Julia's account was actually -$999,985,855.94.

Since then, the error has been resolved.
