A Lebanese family, Al-Kassar, thanked His Majesty King Abdullah II Tuesday for the kind humanitarian initiative to pay for the treatment of their daughter Suhaila Al-Kassar, who was injured via a stray bullet outside her home in the town of Benin Al-Akari in northern Lebanon.

She was transferred to Jordan to complete her treatment due to her critical condition.

The representatives of the family met the Jordanian ambassador for Beirut, Walid Al-Hadid, and handed him a gratitude letter for His Majesty the King.

June 16, His Majesty King Abdullah II directed the Royal Jordanian Air Force to evacuate Suhaila Kassar from Lebanon to receive medical treatment in Jordan, after she was hit by a stray bullet.
