Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah met a number of farmers and entrepreneurs associated with local Jordanian products from different regions of the Kingdom in Jabal Al Weibdeh, Amman Monday.

The farmers and entrepreneurs sell their products through the Dibeen website.

Her Majesty also met the website’s team, and Her Majesty toured the local farmers market which included a handful of local products.

The Dibeen website, also known as the online local market, gathers all types of local products in one place, making them easily accessible through online shopping.

At the beginning of the meeting, the founder of the Dibeen website, Zaid Qudsi, presented an overview of the website, which contributes to the electronic marketing of local products, therefore supporting home businesses, projects, farmers and companies to market their products.

He spoke about future plans that aim to provide a variety of local products that are distinguished by their high quality.

Her Majesty said that the past year was difficult for everyone as a result of the coronavirus crisis, was difficult for everyone. But, it opened the way for many businesses to sell their products electronically, with the Dibeen website being at the forefront of this field, enabling consumers to easily obtain products without barriers.

The Queen expressed her pride in the local agricultural and animal products, and in the cooperation between farm owners and young people, which translated into the great interest of the quality, shape and packaging of products, to compete both locally and abroad.

Her Majesty also met with a group of local producers and sellers on the platform, with the meeting focusing on the extent to which they benefited from the platform.
