An official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF) said that the Eastern Military District thwarted Saturday, an attempt of infiltratation by a person from Iraqi territory into Jordanian territory.

The source said that the rules of engagement were applied, which led to the individuals arrest, noting he holds Iraqi citizenship.

The source stressed that (JAF) will deal with all force and firmness with any infiltration or smuggling attempt to protect the borders and prevent those who try to tamper with Jordan's national security.
