Hebrew media announced Sunday that the Pentagon has penned an agreement to provide the Israeli Occupation up to one billion dollars to renew the Iron Dome missile defense system, as fresh hostilities by the Israeli Occupation has threatened to put the system back in heavy use in 'fear' of responses from Palestinian resistance groups.

Last month the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) pounded the Gaza Strip, which caused Palestinian resistance factions to respond with their own strikes, many of which infiltrated the defense system over Tel Aviv.

The Israeli Occupation urgently requested one billion dollars from the United States to replenish the army's stockpile of Iron Dome missiles, in a meeting that brought together the Defense Minister Benny Gantz, his American counterpart Lloyd Austin and American National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, days after the end of IOF aggression.

According to Austin Thursday, the Pentagon would be sending Congress a budget request for more interceptor missiles, though details were still being negotiated.

“I’ve had this conversation with Minister of Defense Benny Gantz. We were together about two weeks ago and we walked through the details of what his requirements were,” Austin told a Senate Appropriations Committee hearing on the Defense Department’s 2022 budget request. “We’re working to flesh out those details and you will see a request in the future.”

Despite the sharp criticism launched by Democrats against the Israel Occupation in the recent aggression, Tel Aviv still enjoys strong support in the party, especially in the security aspect.

Earlier June, Senator Lindsey Graham said despite agreements, "I am here to tell you that there is broad support for Israeli in the Democratic Party."

She confirmed Gantz was planning on making a billion-dollar request to the Pentagon to replenish the arsenal of the Iron Dome missile defense system, following heavy usage of the dome's batteries during the 11-days of violence.

Additionally, Biden pledged to replenish Zionist stockpiles of Iron Dome interceptors while ironically saying he would help rebuild the strip, in a brief speech at the White House, shortly after announcing a so-called ceasefire... which the Israeli Occupation has not adhered to in recent days.

Biden said he spoke with former Israeli Occupation PM Netanyahu about the Iron Dome system, which has saved countless Zionist lives, noting that the system was allegedly 90 percent successful amid airstrikes.

But some defense analysts are skeptical of these figures, and consider the Israeli Occupation figures for successful interceptions to be unreliable.

On the other hand, Palestinian sources stated that resistance rocket fire this time time caused great destruction in major Israeli Occupation cities, as well as causing deaths and injuries.

Although the weapons used by the resistance are often rudimentary and many lack guidance systems, their sheer numbers and low cost are an advantage against the Iron Dome.

According to reports in the Hebrew press, while the missile may cost as little as a few hundred dollars, each Iron Dome interceptor missile costs about $150,000.
