Jordan records seven deaths and 502 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded seven deaths and 502 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 746,480.

The death toll has risen to 9,663.

The cases are:

-265 in Amman

-76 in Irbid, including one in Ramtha

-60 in Zarqa

-21 in Mafraq

-16 in Ajloun

-14 in Tafilah

-13 in Aqaba

-11 in Balqa

-Seven in Jerash

-Seven in Madaba

-Five in Karak

-Three in Ma'an

-Three in Petra

A total of 61 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 52 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 6,633 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 655 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 730,184.

There are 472 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 19,722 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,677,570.

Sunday, 2.55 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 2.04 percent on Saturday.
