Saturday, the Minister of Health Firas Hawari went on a field visit to inspect health services in Karak and promised to find solutions for medical and nursing staff shortages in hospitals and health centers across the country.

He said there are no medication shortages but that the distribution mechanism needs improvement to ensure they meet all health centers' needs on time.

Decision makers in Karak who accompanied the minister on the tour, demanded the provision of hospitals and health centres with the necessary health care staff, medical equipment as well as enough quantities of certain medication.
