Palestine recorded three deaths and 165 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila Friday.

The new deaths involved two in the West Bank and one in the Gaza Strip.

The recovery rate in Palestine stands at 97.8 percent, while the active case rate is 1.1 percent and the death rate is 1.1 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included five in Jenin; four in Hebron; one il Tulkarm; three in Nablus; one in Ramallah; and 151 in the Gaza Strip.

The recovery cases included six in Jenin; one in Hebron; three in Tulkarm; 25 in Nablus; three in Ramallah and al-Bireh; one in Salfit; four in Tubas; and 410 in the Gaza Strip.

A total of 1,823 PCR tests have been conducted.

Currently, nine people are in ICUs and one are on ventilators.

A total of 445,412 individuals received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, including 270,604 who received both doses.
