Friday, at least 47 Palestinians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) at the entrance to the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, announced the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The IOF fired tear gas and rubber bullets on Palestinians during the confrontations.

The Palestinian Red Crescent pointed out that “most of the injuries were treated at the Red Crescent field hospital, and three cases were transferred to the main hospital.”

Hundreds of Palestinians protested after Friday prayers demanding the removal of the newly built Israeli Occupation settlement outpost, which is called "Avitar," on top of Mount Sobeh in the village of Beita, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian News Agency, Wafa.
