Friday at dawn, Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained six Palestinians from the Salem village, east of Nablus, West Bank according to local sources.

They said that IOF forcibly entered the village, ransacked a handful of houses and arrested six Palestinians.

Thursday evening, special IOF driving a Palestinian licensed white vehicle, snuck their way into Tubas and detained a Palestinian man from his house, according to the Director of the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) Office, Kamal Bani-Odeh.

On the other hand, IOF also rounded up five Palestinians who participated in protests against the cursing Islam’s Prophet Muhammad in the vicinity of the Old City of Jerusalem by zionist settlers during the Flag March.

On that day, videos emerged online showing settlers chanting many racist slogans, including "Death to Arabs," and slander against the Islamic Prophet.

One settler even threatened of a second Nakba soon.

During the Palestinian protest against the march, the IOF "cracked down on the rally and chased demonstrators in Bab al-Amoud, al-Musrara and Sultan Suleiman Street, beating them with batons and spraying them with skunk water before detaining the five people," according to the local Palestinian news agency, WAFA.

Among the five detained were two minors from the Shufat refugee camp.

IOF raid Palestinian villages and homes almost on a daily-basis across occupied lands under the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians. Such provocations regularly ensue clashes with residents.

These unlawful raids also take place in areas and villages under full control of the Palestinian Authority (PA), and are conducted with no search warrant or a requirement of one. The IOF conduct such raids whenever the military chooses.

Under Israeli Occupation military law, they have full illegal executive, legislative and judicial authority over the three million Palestinians living in the West Bank.

Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
