Thursday, the Irbid Health Directorate announced the number of people who received a coronavirus vaccine in Irbid reached 409,564, including 126,179 who received both doses.

The Director of the Health Directorate, Riyadh Al-Shayyab, said vaccination centers witnessed remarkable turnouts this week, raising the cumulative number of people who received the vaccine to more than 400,000.

Shayyab pointed to the success of vaccination campaigns in universities, schools, commercial and industrial sectors, and public institutions, pointing towards their contribution to raising the percentage of people who have become immunized.

He considered that this number indicates "general satisfaction" ahead of the reopening of sectors, the return to in-person education in practical and training courses in universities and colleges, and the return of normalcy in public life in order to reach a safe summer.
