Thursday, the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila said that the recovery rate from coronavirus in Palestine stands at 97.8 percent, the percentage of active cases at 1.1 percent and death rate at 1.1 percent of the total infections. One death was recorded in the Gaza Strip due to coronavirus.

Kaila said the new coronavirus cases are:

- 14 in Nablus

- Two in Jenin

- One in Bethlehem

- One in Ramallah and Al-Bireh

- 152 in Gaza Strip

Kaila said the recoveries are:

- 14 in Nablus

- Five in Jenin

- Six in Ramallah and Al-Bireh

- One in Tulkarem

- Two in Hebron

- Two in Tubas

- 398 in Gaza

Kaila pointed out that there are nine patients in intensive care units, including two patients on ventilators. Additionally, 15 patients are currently receiving treatment in hospitals in the West Bank.

Kaila added that a total of 436,275 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including 260,713 who received both doses.
