Wednesday, His Majesty King Abdullah II directed the Royal Jordanian Air Force to evacuate a Lebanese girl Suhaila Kassar from Lebanon to receive medical treatment in Jordan, after she was hit by a stray bullet.
According to the former Lebanese ambassador to Amman Tracy Dany Chamoun, the girl was injured a week ago and the bullet is currenty lodged near her spine. However, she could not receive the necessary medical care due to the current condition of Lebanese hospitals and shortage of medical supplies.
Chamoun expressed her appreciation and noted that after she explained the situation to King Abdullah, His Majesty immediately sent a plane along with a medical team to provide her with the necessary medical care.
