His Majesty the King encouraged Jordanian citizens and residents to take coronavirus vaccines Wednesday, expressing his belief that it is the fastest way to protect the country.

His Majesty said during his meeting with a number of residents of Al Koura District in Irbid Governorate that the economic challenges lie in how to open the sectors as quickly as possible.

The government is working to open all sectors by July, and schools and universities in September.

His Majesty further expressed his hope that the coronavirus situation will be better by winter, saying he will not be comfortable until everyone has been vaccinated.
