Late Wednesday and early Thursday, Palestinians in the Gaza Strip participated in mass rallies in various parts of the enclave called by resistance factions in rejection of the provocative Zionist Flag March organized in occupied Jerusalem, and in support of Jerusalemites.

Mass rallies took place in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip, Gaza City and Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.

The participants raised Palestinian flags and banners confirming that the city of Jerusalem is and will always be Palestinian.

These rallies came in response to a call of the Palestinian resistance factions to participate massively and actively in the marches to express the rejection of provocation and the continued aggression against Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Demonstrators in Khan Yunis were spotted burning pictures of the new Israeli Occupation Prime Minister, Naftali Bennett.

In turn, Israeli Occupation Forces east of Khan Yunis, fired tear gas canisters towards the youth, resulting in the injury of a young man in his twenties who was shot in the leg.

Tuesday evening, the Flag March arrived in the Bab Al-Amoud area in occupied Jerusalem wherein settlers provoked clashes by attacking a Palestinian woman carrying a Palestinian flag.
