Tuesday, the Israeli Occupation diverted planes landing at the Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, in anticipation of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, in response to the Flags March in East Jerusalem, and settler provocation.

Hebrew media noted this decision was a security precaution in preparation of the Flag March.

The Hebrew website 'Walla,' said the decision came against the backdrop of fears of rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.

They pointed out that the spokesman of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) confirmed the authenticity of aircraft diversion.

Earlier Tuesday, the provocative Flag March began from Hanevim Street in West Jerusalem, with the participation of about 5,000 Zionist settlers, to Bab Al-Amoud in occupied East Jerusalem.
