NCSCM issues instructions to take effect Tuesday

Monday, the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) said that, in light of the recent decisions to reopen sectors and ease restrictions previously imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the following will take effect as of 8 am Tuesday (June 15).

- People (including public transport drivers) who received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 21 days prior will be allowed to roam freely across all governorates during curfew hours.

- Electronic roaming permits are considered invalid if the person is not registered on the ministry's official online COVID-19 vaccination platform.

- Trucks are not allowed to enter the Aqaba Special Economic Zone unless drivers have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as a minimum.

The above conditions apply to everyone who has obtained vaccination certificates, which can be verified through the Sanad mobile application.

The NCSCM called on citizens and residents of the Kingdom to fully comply with the aforementioned in order to maintain the stability of the COVID-19 situation and ensure improvement.
