Monday, the Ministry of Health announced that they established an online platform for people who received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine outside Jordan and wish to receive the second dose in the Kingdom, the service for which will be available in specific vaccination sites.

Those who wish to receive a second dose must provide a vaccination certificate, a valid QR code as well as information about the type of vaccine and the date of vaccination.

The ministry noted that certificates issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be accepted despite the lack of QR codes.

Certificates without QR codes from other countries must be stamped from the Ministry of Health in the country where the vaccine was taken.

If the certificate lacks a QR code and is not stamped, the person must go to the country’s embassy and have the certificate authenticated by them.
