Jordan records 10 deaths and 546 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 10 deaths and 546 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 743,877.

The death toll has risen to 9,602.

The cases are:

- 290 in Amman

- 101 in Zarqa

- 45 in Irbid, including three in Ramtha

- 32 in Karak

- 15 in Ma'an, including one in Petra

- 12 in Balqa

- 12 in Mafraq

- 10 in Ajloun

- Eight in Madaba

- Seven in Aqaba

- Seven in Jerash

- Three in Tafilah

A total of 63 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 57 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 7,343 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 750 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 726,932.

There are 501 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 19,664 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,563,575.

Monday, 2.78 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 2.69 percent on Sunday.
