Monday, attending on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - Arab Army, Her Royal Highness Princess Salma bint Abdullah II inaugurated a military training center for women in the Ghabawi area in Zarqa.

HRH toured the center's buildings, which include specialized training rooms and a nursery to care for employees' children.

The center was established by the JAF in cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Yousef al-Hunaiti, the Assistant Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Planning, Organizing and Regulating Defense Ibrahim al-Nuaimat, the Assistant for Manpower Ali Al-Doumi and the Director of the Military Women’s Affairs Department Maha al-Nasser. A number of diplomats, military attachés and other JAF officers.

Nasser delivered a speech highlighting the importance of the center in empowering military women with a high degree of professionalism.
