Jordan records 14 deaths and 528 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 14 deaths and 528 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 739,847.

The death toll has risen to 9,530.

The cases are:

-240 in Amman

-105 in Zarqa

-81 in Irbid, including two in Ramtha

-19 in Balqa

-18 in Aqaba

-18 in Karak

-13 in Ajloun

-12 in Jerash

-10 in Tafilah

-Six in Mafraq

-Four in Madaba

A total of 49 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 49 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,301 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 890 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 721,016.

There are 528 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 17,314 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,407,053.

Sunday, 3.05 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 2.16 percent on Saturday.
