Sunday, the head of the Private Hospitals Association Fawzi Al-Hammouri said that private hospitals have vaccinated more than 50,000 citizens against the coronavirus.

In a statement, Hammouri said that 28 private hospitals are currently participating in the national vaccination campaign, through vaccination centers designated for this purpose.

He stressed that all services are provided free of charge.

This comes in order to vaccinate the largest possible number of citizens, according to Hammouri.

Jan. 13, Jordan began its national coronavirus vaccination campaign.
