Jordan records seven deaths and 304 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded seven deaths and 304 new COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 739,319.

The death toll has risen to 9,516.

The cases are:

-110 in Amman

-36 in Irbid, including five in Ramtha

-16 in Ma'an, including three in Petra

-Seven in Ajloun

-10 in Mafraq

-Five in Balqa

-66 in Zarqa

-16 in Karak

-Three in Madaba

-10 in Tafilah

-16 in Jerash

-Nine in Aqaba

A total of 65 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 46 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 9,613 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 840 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 720,190.

There are 552 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 14,080 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,389,739.

Saturday, 2.16 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 2.85 percent on Friday.
