Thursday, the Amman Migstrates Court decided to add another count of death to the charges, so they become eight charges of causing death instead of seven, in the oxygen case at Al-Hussein Salt New Hospital, after it was transferred from the Public Prosecution.

The court held its 19th public session, headed by Judge Odai al-Fraihat, during which it heard two public prosecution witnesses, bringing the total number of witnesses to 34 out of 49.

The head of the nursing department in the departments of moderate-care for coronavirus patients, who is responsible for a large number of nursing staff in the hospital, testified Thursday. He stressed that he was informed of the oxygen shortage at 7:30 am on March 13, supporting his previous statements made before the Public Prosecutor.

A nurse also testified and the testomony was discussed by defense attorneys, supporting her previous statements made before the Public Prosecutor.
