Monday, French judges began the questioning session of former Renault-Nissan leader Carlos Ghosn in Beirut as part of two cases against him in France, according to a source in the Palace of Justice and Agence France-Presse.

The source said that Ghosn entered the court of cassation in the Palace of Justice at ten in the morning (0700 GMT), shortly after the arrival of the French team.

A judicial source told AFP that "the French delegation will interrogate Ghosn daily from ten in the morning until six in the evening, from Monday to Friday."

Ghosn has been in Lebanon since the end of December 2019, after fleeing Japan to escape prosecutions for fraud. In addition to the files related to Ghosn in Japan, he is targeted by several cases in France.
