Sunday, the Center for Strategic Studies (CSS) at Jordan University announced that the majority of Jordanians believe that freedom of speech and freedom of the press are not guaranteed in Jordan.

The study added that 55 percent of Jordanians believe that freedom of parliamentary, municipal and union elections is guaranteed, and 48 percent believe that freedom to join association and organizations is guaranteed in Jordan.

Additionally, 39 percent of Jordanians believe that the freedom to join political parties is guaranteed in Jordan, and 37 percent believe that the freedom to sue the government and its institutions is guaranteed in Jordan.

This was part of the CSS announcement of an opinion poll results regarding Bisher al-Khasawneh's government, 200 days after he was appointed.
