Saturday, the Minister of Health Firas al-Hawari announced that employees of hospitals and health affairs directorates must get PCR tests done every 14 days.

Hawari noted that this decision excludes those who received both doses of the vaccine and at least two weeks have passed since they received the second dose.

The decision was made as positive cases continue to be reported among health institution employees, aiming to limit the spread of COVID-19.
