The Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced  Saturday that three deaths, and 269 new cases of the coronavirus were recorded during the last 24 hours.

In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kailah stated that three deaths from the virus were recorded in the Gaza Strip.

The report indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: six in Tulkarm; two in Jenin; six in Nablus; five in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; and 250 in the Gaza Strip.

The rate of recovery from the coronavirus in Palestine reached 97.7 percent, while the rate of active infections reached 1.1 percent, and the death rate was 1.1 percent of all infections.

The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 29 patients with coronavirus in the intensive care rooms, including six patients on artificial respirators.

73 patients are being treated in coronavirus centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.

The total number of people vaccinated in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 304,889, including 217,207 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
