The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, Dr. Eng. Ghazi Jabour, said a technical defect occurred within the systems of one of the companies providing telecommunications services in Jordan, which led to the interruption of the internet for many.

A source in the Telecommunications Sector Regulatory Authority confirmed in a phone call with Roya that it has received many complaints about the interruption of Internet services to some subscribers, and that it is following up on these interruptions.
