Jordan recorded 14 deaths and 636 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 729,185.

The death toll has risen to 9,342.

The cases are: 

- 280 in Amman

- 121 in Irbid, including 24 in Ramtha

- 91 in Zarqa

-31 in Balqa

- 29 in Mafraq

- 23 in Ma'an, including three in Petra

- 15 in Ajloun

- 14 in Madaba

- 13 in Jerash

- 10 in Karak

- Six in Aqaba

- Three in Tafilah

A total of 66 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 66 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 10,553 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 601 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 709,290.

There are 609 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 20,126 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,081,102.

Friday, 3.16 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 3.56 percent on Wednesday.
