Friday, the Minister of Health Firas al-Hawari spoke to Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh about the condition in hospitals across the Kingdom in light of the blackout confirming that everything is 'under control,' including in coronavirus field hospitals.
The Ministry of Health previously provided all hospitals with generators that would start work immediately if a power cut occurs.
He pointed out that the ministry provided instructions for COVID-19 patients who require breathing support at home, including what needs to be done if there is a power. He noted that citizens were advised to contact the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) or head to the nearest hospital.
Hawari confirmed that there are no concerns regarding vaccine safety, adding that generators have been provided to all locations where vaccines are stored.
