The Public Security Directorate (PSD) assured that all its response systems are functioning properly Friday, despite Jordan witnessing power outages.
The PSD spokesperson said their systems were not affected due to the existence of backup plans to supply electricity to such systems.
They indicated that the Operations and Control Directorate is operating effectively, and that the unified emergency number 911 will receive all emergency calls normally.
The PSD added that the concerned directorates and departments have strengthened their fixed and mobile patrols to provide security for all shops, companies, banks and other establishments if needed.
They explained that work was conducted to provide a number of hospitals with backup oxygen cylinders, while rescue and ambulance teams have intensified efforts to serve citizens.
On the other hand, the PSD indicated that the Traffic Department has intensified deployment in the streets of the Kingdom in order to maintain order, especially in the traffic signal areas.
