Late Thursday, the Israeli Occupation and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire following 11 days of violence that killed over 200 Palestinians. 

The ceasefire went into effect at 2am Friday, following exchanges of fire. 

US President Biden said he would work to provide 'rapid humanitarian assistance' to Gaza, following devastation in the enclave by Israeli Occupation airstrikes.
