Representatives of the European Union member states agreed on Wednesday to allow entry to the EU for travelers from other countries who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with vaccines authorized in the EU.

With the summer tourist season approaching, ambassadors from the 27 countries endorsed this recommendation put forward by the European Commission, although it is not binding.
