Tuesday, a 25-year-old Palestinian, identified as Mohammad Ishaq Hamid, was killed and at least 46 others were injured after getting shot by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) near the city of al-Bireh.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said Hamid, who is from Beit Anan northwest of Occupied Jerusalem, arrived at the Palestine Medical Complex in a very critical condition after getting shot in the chest.

Wafa News Agency reported that the IOF, stationed at al-Askari checkpoint near the settlement of Beit El in al-Bireh, fired bullets and tear gas at demonstrators protesting against the Israeli Occupation's aggression on the Palestinian people.

Wafa reported that the IOF has been opening fire at Palestinian ambulances while providing medical aid to Palestinians.
