Jordan recorded 19 deaths and 1,174 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 726,432.

The death toll has risen to 9,295.

The cases are:

- 487 in Amman

- 147 in Irbid, including 32 in Ramtha

- 131 in Zarqa

- 96 in Ma'an, including six in Petra

- 64 in Balqa

- 64 in Mafraq

- 58 in Karak

- 46 in Ajloun

- 29 in Jerash

- 19 in Aqaba 

- 19 in Madaba

- 14 in Tafilah

A total of 95 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 127 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 10,729 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 1,220 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 706,408.

There are 654 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 29,802 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 7,001,979.

Tuesday, 3.94 percent of PCR tests came back positive, in comparison to 3.54 percent on Monday.
