Monday, Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh paid tribute to the martyrs of Palestine who were killed as a result of the Israeli Occupation's aggression.

During a parliamentary session to discuss the current situation in Palestine and Israeli Occupation's attacks on Jerusalem and Gaza, Khasawneh affirmed that Jordan will always support and defend the Palestinian cause, Jerusalem and the holy sites under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. He noted that Jordan has many options when it comes to protecting Palestinians, including legal and diplomatic.

Khasawneh said, "The Kingdom is the closest to Palestine and the one who sympathizes with them the most," stressing that "Jordanian blood has always been mixed with Palestinian blood in defense of the Palestinian cause."

Khasawneh stressed that Jordan will not give up any of the rights of the Palestinian people and that the Kingdom has not and will not be silent at any stage, and that the Israeli Occupation bears responsibility for all its crimes.

He explained that the crimes of the Israeli Occupation confirm that the region will not enjoy stability unless the Palestinian state is established on the 1967 borders with Occupied Jerusalem as its capital.

Khasawneh said, "We are proud of the Jordanians who took to the streets to express their solidarity with the Palestinians."
