The Ministry of Health in Palestine announced Monday that the death toll from the continuous Israeli Occupation aggression against the people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, has risen to 220 and more than 6,039 wounded.

The ministry stated that the number of deaths in the Gaza Strip rose to 200, including 59 children, 35 women, and 1,235 wounded.

The number of deaths in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, reached 21, including a child, and more than 4,369 injuries.

The Israeli Occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip has continued since Monday May 10, until Monday May 17 through air, land and sea raids on various areas of the strip, which led to the destruction of 90 buildings, including six residential towers, of which three were completely destroyed.

In occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) continue protecting settlers' violations against the people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, wherein several Palestinian families are being forcibly removed from their homes and replaced with settlers.

The IOF has blocked off the neighborhood with concrete blocks, and continues to tighten the reigns on the movement of people, while more than 1,000 citizens of Jerusalem have been injured by the attacks of the IOF and settlers.

The Ministry of Health stated that Sunday, 24 injuries reached the treatment centers in the West Bank:

Ramallah: 11 wounded, four of them with live ammunition and seven with rubber-coated metal bullets.

Bethlehem: two people suffered live ammunition in wounds on several limbs.

Nablus: five injuries, four of which were shot by live bullets, and one was injured by a fall.

Salfit: one person was injured by a live bullet wound to the abdomen.

Jenin: an individual was hit by live bullets in the foot.

Hebron: four injuries with rubber-coated metal bullets.
