Sunday, Prime Minister Bisher al-Khasawneh issued Communications No. 35 and 36, based on the provisions of Defense Order No. 19.

Based on the announcement shared by the Prime Ministry on Twitter, Communications 35 and 36 impose the following:

-The decision to reduce the night curfew hours will continue to be from 10pm for establishments and 11pm for individuals until 6am on all days of the week until further notice, however, the decision excludes those whose work requires otherwise.

-Providing home delivery services for restaurants, pastry shops, and pharmacies until 3am until further notice.

-Regarding the closed sectors, the PM directed the Supreme Framework Committee to deal with the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic and to study the necessary decisions regarding the sectors gradual reopening starting June 1, 2021, taking into consideration the developments in the COVID-19 situation in Jordan and the process of receiving the coronavirus vaccine, which is the main factor for reaching a safe summer.

-As for the official working hours for those working in public sectors, it will continue to be from 8:30am until 2pm. However, the decision excludes those whose work requires otherwise.

-The percentage of public sector employees working in their institutions will remain at 50 percent capacity until further notice. This excludes those whose work requires otherwise.

-Employees who have received the COVID-19 vaccine or have been infected with the virus, will return to on-site work, taking into consideration the conditions of mothers who have children in the first three grades and kindergartens.
