Sunday, the Assistant Secretary-General for Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health (MoH) Ghazi Sharkas told the Jordan News Agency, Petra, that the calculation of the number of active cases mentioned in the government’s daily coronavirus update has been changed.

Sharkas said that previously the number of active cases was being calculated a week after someone recovers from COVID-19. However, now it will be two weeks after the person recovers from the virus.

He added that the coronavirus indicators are currently stable in the Kingdom, as there is a decrease in the number of daily coronavirus cases.

He lastly called on citizens to adhere to the required health and safety measures, which include wearing face masks and social distancing.
