Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya affirmed that the popular rallies and protests that were carried out by the Jordanians Friday in support for the Palestinian brothers showed Jordan's steadfast and historic stance in support of the Palestinians.

He pointed out that the security services were keen, during the protests, to protect citizens and ensure their safety.

Faraya lastly called on the participants to be responsible and not approach the border sites in order to preserve their safety.
