The IOF arrested Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib, Vice President of the Islamic Movement in the Occupied Territories in 1948, after storming his house in the town of Kafr Kanna.

The Sheikh’s daughter, Marwa Al-Khatib, said on her Twitter account that the IOF stormed the house, the neighborhood and the mosque, and shot and arrested my father.

Sources in Kafr Kanna said that Al-Khatib was arrested after the Israeli Occupation besieged the neighborhood in which he lives, fired gas at the homes of the people in the area and at the Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque.

The IOF fired live bullets at residents that tried to protest their actions.
