The Prime Minister of the Israeli Occupation Government, Benjamin Netanyahu, granted the authority to bring Israeli Occupation soldiers into cities to suppress Palestinian demonstrators in 1948 lands.

Notably, the Israeli Occupation authorities imposed closures on the city of Lydd, and prevented entry to the city starting 5pm Thursday.

A 8pm curfew was also imposed in the city.

Netanyahu also gave the green light to the border guards to carry out arrests in Lydd, and to escalate the repression of Palestinian demonstrators there and in other mixed Palestinian-Israeli Occupation cities.

Earlier, Defense Minister Benny Gantz ordered a mass call-up of Border Police reservists to bolster efforts of Israeli Occupation officers working to contain the unrest.

Ten companies of reservists from the paramilitary Border Police were to be brought in, said Gantz in statements.

Notably, Ganz indicated that no Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) soldiers would be involved in policing, a polar opposite move from Netanyahu, who Wednesday night, noted he was looking at deploying the military within towns to restore "order."

Wednesday, Israeli Occupation violence increased as dozens of settlers attacked Palestinians across Lydd, Jaffa, Acre, Haifa and other cities and areas in occupied Palestinian territories.
