British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Wednesday called on the Israeli Occupation and the Palestinians to "exercise restraint," saying that he was "very concerned" about "the increasing violence and civilian casualties," and urged "an urgent de-escalation."

"I urge Israel and the Palestinians to step back from the brink and show restraint," he said in a tweet, stressing that "the United Kingdom is very concerned about the increasing violence and civilian casualties and we want the escalation to stop urgently."

Over 43 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since Monday night in airstrikes from the Israeli Occupation. Across the West Bank, Palestinians are experiencing escalated violence and assaults from the IOF.
