On the first day of Eid al-Fitr, night curfew hours will be reduced in Jordan to begin at 10pm for establishments and 11pm for citizens until 6am.

Sunday, Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh issued a notice to reduce the night curfew hours. The government confirmed that this decision comes within the framework of the safe, gradual mitigation measures that they will take in accordance with the developments of the COVID-19 situation, leading to the strategic goal of reaching a safe summer.

The government pointed out that these decisions remain based on the commitment of citizens and establishments to public safety measures.

Tuesday, the Grand Mufti of Jordan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, announced that Wednesday will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, and Thursday will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

April 28, the government announced during a press conference that the Friday lockdown will be cancelled starting April 30th.
