Tuesday, the Grand Mufti of Jordan, Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khasawneh, announced that Wednesday will be the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, and Thursday will be the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.

Earlier Tuesday, Saudi Arabia announced the Shawwal crescent moon could not be seen in the Tamir observatory, which signifies the first day of Eid Al-Fitr.
