Monday, inspection teams of the Health and Professional Supervision and Inspection Department at the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) shut down two facilities and issued 108 official warnings to other establishments for violating defense orders as well as health and professional instructions.

The GAM stated in its daily report that inspection teams carried out 675 field visits during which five facilities and three individuals were fined for different types of violations.

The GAM added that the Health and Professional Supervision Department carried out 64 inspections, in cooperation with other teams, to ensure compliance among street vendors. A total of 62 violations were recorded and 2,335 liters of juices were discarded as well as 76 kilograms of foodstuffs.
