Friday, MP Saleh al-Armouti announced that his phone was stolen while taking part in a demonstration, in support of the Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah and Jerusalem, after Friday prayers in Downtown Amman.

Thousands of Jordanians demonstrated in solidarity too.

On Facebook, Armouti wrote, “My phone was stolen after Friday prayers in front of the Grand Husseini Mosque, after my speech before the masses that gathered for the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and for Jerusalem and the holy sites."

He added that he is not responsible for anything that comes out of his phone in any offensive matter, and has informed the security services of this.
