MP Fawaz Al-Zoubi Wednesday attacked private schools in Jordan, saying that they “sucked the blood of the Jordanian people,” in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and its repercussions.

During a legislative session, Zoubi questioned the government's role in dealing with private schools, given that they have imposed fees without reduction or discounts, despite their lessened work due to virtual education.
